It’s almost time to say goodbye to the Pogues.
The Pogues are preparing for their final journey.
The tale of John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, and Cleo will be concluded in the fifth and final season of the treasure-hunting teen adventure Outer Banks, which will begin with the aftermath of JJ’s death at the conclusion of season 4.
Following that horrific cliffhanger, the final season begins with the Pogues pursuing the Blue Crown while being pursued by Chandler Groff, Dalia, and the Corsairs. They are motivated by grief and retaliation.
The release date for Outer Banks’ impending fifth and final season has finally been determined, nearly two years after we last saw the Pogues in season 4.
On Thursday, August 20, 2026, all ten episodes of Season 5 will be simultaneously available on Netflix.
Alongside the announcement, a first-look trailer and a collection of pictures were made public. The teaser features scenes of the Pogues incarcerated as well as their ongoing grief at JJ’s passing and desire for retribution.
